elites explore Marietta Square market | Bark

All aboard! The Yelp Elites explored the Marietta Square market… through their stomachs! Marietta Square Market is an inspired food court with 18 active restaurants. The market is located in a revitalized warehouse in historic Marietta Square, next to the square’s iconic train tracks. Its well-preserved charm and design is a celebration of the long history and unique heritage of downtown Marietta.

The Yelp Elite event was structured like a scavenger hunt. The elites were divided into small groups and given a group number. Each group was given their own scavenger hunt program with breaks in between to allow them to eat safely outside. With their schedules in hand, the Elites ventured on a journey through the market, making 12 different delicious stops along the way. The elites had the opportunity to taste over 15 different items. They have worked from barbecue pizza to bulgogi, ice cream and more! Much more.

Everyone in every restaurant really went out of their way to make sure we were all taken care of. It was truly a very special and unique event. I want to thank all the restaurant staff for working so hard, even staying later than usual to make this evening so amazing.

Let me start by saying that everything I tried was good. There was so much food I had to take home the last three servings – much to my husband’s delight! I was also impressed with the service at each location. Many went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and their food to be a memorable experience.
